Fish & Wildlife Service says it won't do Wyoming's bidding — at-least not overtly

Yellowostone Reintroduction (Photo: USFWS).  the American people are wildly in favor of reintroducing the gray wolf to its native rangeAn article in the Casper Star Tribune today indicates that the growing public opposition to letting cowboys control the fate of wolves in the Cowboy State is giving the U.S. Fish & Wildife a bit of heartburn. In response, true to the Bush Administration approach to controversial issues, the Fish & Wildlife Service is telling us, “Don’t worry.” Given the tone and tenor of the debate thus far, worry is in order.
